Japanese sushi restaurant chain drops US$470,000 lawsuit against ‘sushi terrorist’

Japanese sushi chain Sushiro has dropped its US$470,000 lawsuit against a teen who was filmed in a viral video licking a soy sauce bottle at one of its restaurants. The company said that both sides reached a “reasonable” agreement in late July 2023, with the sushi assailant admitting “responsibility”.
