Violence intensifies in Syria

The violence intensified in Syria on Monday, after street battles in Aleppo over the weekend led to military offensives. Activists reported an attempt to storm the town of Salqin in Idlib, resulting in many deaths, while Syrian security forces also reportedly stormed the town of Naymah just outside the southern city of Daraa.
